I made this for Lerin (my daughter) last year and just realized I never posted it.
After the sadness of Japan tragedy I wanted to express how I felt about it. I received my Level 2 Reiki from a monk in Japan, whom I sculpted from memory. He is almost waist deep in water right before the wave hits. One of the things that struck me about Japan was how neat and orderly everything was and it made me think how hard it must be for them to put it all back in order. I love Japan and its people.

My very first pottery project I made at Sandy Malamed’s
open studio. I think I’m in love with mud. I had a little trouble with some of the flowers in her hair falling off because I didn’t attach them correctly. I’ll get better.
I saw this wallet on Martha Steward and I want to make some. They can be bought from Dear Sukie on Etsy.com
I made this hat for Pam’s birthday. Made from what else but 100 percent recycled felted wool from an old sweater. We saw it in a store in Canada and she loved it so I figured out a pattern and made her one of her own. Isn’t it cute?
I got an order for a whole lotta monster purses from a company in Korea. It has to be shipped out on wednesday. I’m almost finished with them. Only the beads around the girl monsters eyes to do and then wha-la! I’ll package them up and ship them off. I’ll post pictures later today.
